Course description
This interdisciplinary lecture series covers a wide range of “hot topics” in social neuroscience and neuroeconomics, addressing the experimental, theoretical, and methodological issues which are at the center of the current scientific discourse. Each lecture introduces a particular problem and the available state-of-the-art methods for addressing it, followed by a discussion that involves active participation by the audience. The aim is to (i) familiarize scientists with current concepts and perspectives from different fields, (ii) enable them to broaden their methodological expertise, and (iii) stimulate concrete collaborations across disciplines.
Certificates of course participation (2 credit points) can be obtained by students who attend the course regularly and pass the final written examination (pass/fail grading for ZNZ participants; 1-6 grading for Master and lic. students).
